The stall dispensing free squash did a very brisk trade. Members baked scones and these were served with jam and cream. Also available, in true Wimbledon style, were strawberries and cream.
The children’s tombola very nearly sold out and the bouncy castle was a firm favourite. Our face painter, Glenn, produced some wonderful faces of spiderman, tigers, butterflies and bats.
The coaches, Phil, Howard, Sallie and Gaz were kept busy all afternoon and as a result we are hoping to be welcoming new members to the club. It was fantastic to see so many children on the courts having fun.

However, the biggest thanks must go to all the businesses and individuals who donated Promises and to all those people who purchased tickets and so generously spent their money on the night.
